T-1 Sub Miniature Vacuum Lamps Carley Vacuum Lamps have lower filament temperatures and serve customers requiring cool lamp skin temperatures, longer lifetime and reduced cost. Current draws are from .015 to .7 amperes. Higher efficiencies are attained at current draws of less than .35 amperes than those attained by gas filled lamps.
Failure of Vacuum Lamps normally results from the lamp becoming too dark from Tungsten pollution deposits and/or the filament becoming too small and brittle in a specific area and breaking. Vacuum Lamps should not be operated in environments that exceed 100C.
Most of Carley's Vacuum Lamps meet or exceed military specifications as required by the U.S. Government. Carley Lamps welcomes the opportunity to design and build Vacuum Lamps for your unique requirements. Carley Lamps builds vacuum lamps from .15 to 28 volts with currents ranging from .015 to .70 amps.
